Depart early in the morning from Saigon and drive approx one hour forty five minutes to the southwest. Along the way, notice lush rice paddies and fruit farms emerging alongside the highway. Upon arrival in Nhi Quy commune, stretch your legs a bit and hop on a bicycle for the first tournament of total 15 km on both paved and cement roads and paths, passing through the local factories, canals and fruitful orchards.

Locals will often greet you with a hello or “xin chao” as you pedal by. Reward yourself with a delicious lunch of Mekong Delta specialties hosted by a local family. After lunch, continue your leisure ride to the home of a tropical fruit farmer and have a walk around his orchard. Enjoy the opportunity to taste fresh fruits. Then have fun with a sampan ride, enjoying the countryside peaceful views as you are paddled slowly along the canals. Leave the sampan behind and finish your last 5 km of the bike ride today. The trip could not end better as you are relaxing onboard of a charming wooden boat to enjoy countryside scenery and river life while the cool breezes fondling your hair. Disembark in Cai Lay town where the driver is ready to bring you back to Saigon. (TOTAL 20km)
