Depart early in the morning from Saigon and head about one and a half hour to the southwest. Along the way, notice lush rice paddies and fruit farms emerging alongside the highway. Upon arrival in Long Dinh Bridge, start your tournament by a 2 km ride to the ancient tombs of the famed feudal mandarin, Le Van Duyet and his family. After a quick visit of this gravesite, continue your bike toward Vinh Kim Central market famous nationwide with its specialty, Lo Ren star apple fruit. Along the ride, you will pass through both paved and cement roads and paths, local factories, canals and fruitful orchards. It is pleasant to receive warmly greetings such as “hello” or “xin chao” from the hospitable locals as you pedal by. You may find yourself interested in visiting a beautiful bonsai garden and interact with the local owner to learn more about his special hobby as well as Vietnamese conception about arts of gardening.

After the first 25 km ride, reward yourself with a delicious lunch of Mekong Delta specialties hosted by a local family. After lunch, continue your leisure ride to the home of a tropical fruit farmer and have a walk around his orchard. Enjoy the opportunity to taste fresh fruits. Then have fun with a sampan ride, enjoying the countryside peaceful views as you are paddled slowly along the canals. Leave the sampan behind and finish your last 5 km of the bike ride today. The ideal way to end your trip perfectly is relaxing onboard of a charming wooden boat to enjoy countryside scenery and river life while the cool breezes fondling your hair. Disembark in Cai Lay town where the driver is ready to bring you back to Saigon. (TOTAL 30km)
